Weeton Barracks Presentation
It was with much pleasure that Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Branch accepted the invitation to present Bibles to The Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Neil Unsworth OBE and The Second in Command, Major Gary Pinchen of The 2nd Battalion, The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment based at Weeton Camp, near Blackpool.
The scriptures were gratefully received and the promise to pray regularly for the service men and women as they are deployed to Afghanistan for six months was much appreciated. Arrangements were also made for approximately 800 MTP testaments to be presented at a pre-deployment service at Kirkham Parish Church and via the Camp Chaplain.
