International Day of Prayer 2013

International Day of Prayer - Saturday 8 June 2013

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”   Ephesians 2:10

The International Day of Prayer is an especially powerful day of intercession for the ministry of The Gideons International, with Brothers and Sisters in over 190 countries worldwide praying every minute of the day. 

This year we have a less prescriptive format and we simply ask that your prayer meeting is guided by The Holy Spirit in the context that ………We are Chosen (1 Peter 2:9), We are Equipped (2 Corinthians 2:14), We are Empowered (Acts 11:21).

Let us fervently pray into God’s sovereign purpose and planning for us in His ministry of The Gideons International, locally, nationally and internationally. May we be in tune with Heaven and have ears to hear what The Holy Spirit is saying to us, as we bring our adoration, confession, thanksgiving and intercession to our God, “ who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us”. (Ephesians 3:20).
