'Bible Giving Cards' are simply cards which, when used, enable Bibles and/or Testaments to be placed, either in memory or in recognition of a loved one, in the UK or in one of the many countries in which The Gideons International operates.
In Memory
At the time of the death of a friend or a relative most people naturally want to express their love and sympathy in a special way. In Loving Memory and With Deepest Sympathy cards allow you to express your condolences and provide Bibles that will be placed in their memory. It can be a great comfort to someone grieving to know that Bibles are being placed in memory of their loved one, with every copy having the potential to reach people for Jesus!
In Recognition
There are special occasions in the lives of our families, friends and loved ones that should not go unrecognised. Birthdays, anniversaries, retirement and special achievements, such as graduation or passing exams, are some of the situations where we want to show our support, love and gratitude.
Congratulations, On Your Wedding Anniversary and Birthday cards allow you to recognise such occasions in a very special way and provide Bibles for those who need them.
There are also times in our lives when we may simply want to say, 'I care' or 'I'm thinking about you' or 'I'm praying for you'. There is no greater way to let someone know you are prayerfully thinking of them than to send a Just To Say card and donate Bibles at the same time.
How do you use the cards?
Very simple:
- Send the card.
- Complete the donation leaflet you receive with the card.
- Send the donation leaflet and your donation to The Gideons International in the pre-addressed envelope enclosed with the card.
Send the Word
All donations given using Bible Giving Cards are used entirely for the purchase and distribution of Scriptures.
The aim of The Gideons is to win others for the Lord Jesus Christ, through personal witnessing and by placing copies of God's Word in many different areas of everyday life.

What will The Gideons do when they receive your donation?
