International Day of Prayer June 9th

Day of Prayer 9 June 2012

Today five of our members came together in prayer to give praise and thanks to our precious Father God.  We gave thanks for the privilege of serving Him through the ministry of Gideons International.

As a small local branch God has been so very good in allowing us to distribute over 2,000 youth testaments (17 schools) this academic year and we continue to pray for two closed schools in our area.  We have redoubled our efforts, in His strength to now meet our target of 12 church presentations – we look to exceed this target.  We praise and glorify His name as He gives us energy, enthusiasm and continued manpower to carry out this awesome work.  As a branch we delight in meeting each month to pray and work together for His glory and keep our eyes focused on His blessed Word.  We are secure in knowing that He will uphold us with His righteous right hand at all times.  Praise Him.
