Over 84 Million Scriptures Placed in Past Year Through The Gideons International

As we mark the end of our fiscal year (May 31), we rejoice in the news that 84,083,388 Scriptures were placed in the world in the past 12 months through The Gideons International, exceeding our goal of 83.5 million.
 
While we won’t know until we reach heaven the number of souls that will be saved as a direct result of those copies of God’s Word, we do know that the potential reach is far greater than the 84 million. Often a single copy of God’s Word can touch the lives of many, many people over a period of years.
 
Organized in 194 countries, The Gideons International continues placing God’s Word at the rate of more than 2.5 copies per second.

To all of our members and donors, thank you for helping reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Your time and donations will have eternal impact.

And to pastors, thank you for allowing us to make presentations in your churches where we can share how God is working through The Gideons International.
