I am forwarding this testimony from my friend who lives in the midlands.  She was telling me about this local man that she knew of, so I asked her to write out what had happened…

Dear Gideons,

Just sending a message to encourage you.

A Muslim man was given a Gideon Bible as he was walking in town. He said that he was not interested but the Gideon Bible was given to him anyway. He took the Bible and when he got home he put it in his bedroom cabinet.

One night he had a awful dream and woke up the dream was very demonic. He prayed to his god but got no where - them he opened his bedroom cabinet door and found the Bible. As he opened the Bible and started reading it the Peace of Jesus came upon him. He started reading the Bible and was unable to put it down as he read the message from all the books until the morning of the next day.

He realised that he was following the wrong god. He decided to seek a help of a local church, but he tried so many churches but all of them were closed - but one church was open because there were workman doing some repairs. He stood outside and wondered what he should do. Then he asked if the priest was in, the workman said he was - they called the priest and when he came to see what was happening, this Muslim man said that had been reading the Bible and wanted to serve this God. The priest prayed with the man and now he is so happy and serve the Kingdom of God and bring others Muslims to his Kingdom.

My encouraging message is please do not stop handing Gideon Bibles to people from other faiths.
