Rock UK Adventure Centres

Northants East branch recently placed 140 Testaments (and holders) at the Frontier Centre near Wellingborough.  Part of Rock UK Adventure Centres, over 500 school and other groups visit their residential activity centres each year.  Centre Manager Richard Sewell said: "As a Christian-based organisation we not only provide adventure activities but also begin to share the seed of the Gospel in our "Spotlight" sessions.  Having the New Testaments available is a wonderful opportunity for people to experience the Word of God and explore what they have learnt as they relax after their activities.    Gideon New Testaments in the bedrooms gives us the ability to share Jesus with those who don't know Him yet.  It endorses what we do and we would like to extend our special thanks to all those who have made this possible."  Individual New Testaments were also made available to the volunteers and staff at the Centre.

The cost of the Testaments was met out of money given to the branch through the Bible Giving Cards in memory of the late Victor White, who was a Gideon for over 37 years.  Eileen White made the presentation together with other branch members.  Eileen testified "Victor and I have been involved with the Gideons for many years and in many different places, but the Lord always blessed us with opportunities to give out His Word, and I pray that the Lord will bless everyone who reads these little Testaments."
