Presentation to Livingston FC

On Monday 3rd April 2017, West Lothians Branch of The Gideons International in the British Isles made a special presentation of badged New Testament & Psalms to Livingston Football Club.

Alex Forsyth, Andrew Tullis and Samie Ghauri from West Lothian Branch met with Club Chaplain, Ivor Forrest at Livingston FC's home ground, The Tony Macaroni Arena, situated with 10 minutes of the M8 linking Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Gideons were warmly received by all of the players and staff and everyone present that morning accepted the gift of a New Testament & Psalms. Alex Forsyth presented a special Presentation Bible crested with the Club's logo to the manager, David Hopkin. Later that evening the Board Members were given badged Testaments and along with other members of staff with over 50 Testaments being distributed that day.

For all of this we give thanks to God and pray that He will continue His good work in the hearts and minds of these men and women and that His Word will be read and accepted.
