I am writing to thank you for the Bible you presented to me at St. Cuthberts High School back in 1986. I read the Bible a couple of times, then left it in one of my drawers, where it stayed for many years.
Back in 1995 I started to have some troubles at work and with some work colleagues. I also had some home problems. I remembered the Bible that I was given in school so I started to read it again. Soon I was reading the Bible every day. I started to pray to God for help. After a period of time I felt that God was helping me.
I just wanted to thank you for giving me the Bible and I now know for a fact that there is a God.
Please keep up the good work.

I have just been discharged from hospital following a serious operation.
Naturally, I hope the problem is solved and that no further treatment will be necessary. When I was admitted, I was afraid and lonely; I had a couple of books but was glad to discover a little blue Gideon’s version of the New Testament.
I found this easy to read and of great comfort. I have vowed to try to live a better life and find God. I should like a copy of the book but note that they may not be sold. Would you kindly give me one or tell me how else I may obtain one?
